Omaxe Limited has unveiled a ₹6,200-crore hospitality expansion plan that is set to reshape the architectural and design landscape across emerging urban, pilgrimage and transit destinations, with 19 hotels planned over nearly 5 million sq. ft. in the next four to five years.
The dedicated hospitality vertical will introduce integrated hotel developments across 13 cities in five states, embedding hospitality assets within Omaxe’s townships, mixed-use projects and urban infrastructure developments. The strategy places architecture, placemaking and destination-led design at the centre of large-scale real estate development.
A key project is the 158-key Gateway Hotel at The Omaxe State, developed in partnership with IHCL at the 50.4-acre The Omaxe State in Dwarka. The integrated destination, being developed under a public-private partnership with the Delhi Development Authority, combines hospitality, sports, retail and entertainment functions within a master-planned urban environment.
The hospitality portfolio will comprise luxury and premium hotels, midscale branded properties, high-capacity pilgrimage hotels, serviced apartments and extended-stay studios. Each project will be designed to respond to the character of its location, supporting business travel, leisure tourism, destination weddings, MICE and religious tourism through market-specific planning and guest experiences.
Mohit Goel said the hospitality business is a natural extension of Omaxe’s integrated development strategy, with improving connectivity and rising tourism creating demand for well-designed hospitality infrastructure that complements existing mixed-use developments.
The expansion also includes transit-oriented hospitality projects in Uttar Pradesh through public-private partnerships with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, reflecting the growing integration of transport infrastructure, hospitality and urban design.
Currently in discussions with leading domestic and international hotel operators, Omaxe aims to create architecturally distinctive hospitality destinations that strengthen the public realm, activate mixed-use precincts and contribute to the evolution of experience-driven urban environments across India’s emerging growth markets.
