Godrej & Boyce, the leading company under the Godrej Group, has announced the successful completion of interior work for the Mega Common Facilitation Centre (CFC) at SEEPZ, Andheri, by its business arm, Godrej Interio, India’s foremost furniture solutions brand in both home and institutional sectors. Covering an extensive area of 75,000 sq.ft., this project spans six floors, showcasing state-of-the-art facilities. Spearheaded by the Ministry of Commerce, this endeavor signifies a significant step towards establishing a distinguished center equipped with advanced technology to foster innovation, design, and manufacturing within the gems and jewellery sector.
Godrej Interio took charge of the comprehensive civil interiors, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), office setups, security systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), firefighting provisions, and Building Management Systems (BMS). This pioneering initiative, India’s premier mega common facility center, stands as a testament to engineering excellence with its aesthetically pleasing interiors. Boasting a Main Entrance adorned with an expansive Exhibition Area, cutting-edge Technology & R&D facilities, a Machinery Service Centre, a Training Center, and an Exhibition Hall, this facility emerges as a vital nexus for both domestic and international players in the jewellery industry. Offering diverse amenities such as 3D printing, hallmarking services, and artisanal skill development, including programs tailored for differently abled individuals, the CFC contributes significantly to the advancement of the sector.
