White Lotus Group hosted Partners in Purpose, a cross-industry town hall aimed at engaging with Bengaluru’s evolving identity and long-term future. The initiative forms part of the group’s broader commitment to contribute to the city beyond the scope of real estate development, bringing together voices from culture, entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and urban development.
Envisioned as a platform to explore Bengaluru’s soul, diversity, and cultural consciousness, Partners in Purposepositioned White Lotus Group as an active participant in shaping the city’s narrative. The dialogue examined how infrastructure, purpose, and culture can collectively influence a more inclusive and sustainable Bengaluru by 2035, while highlighting the shared responsibility of stakeholders in guiding that transformation.
The evening was led by National Award-winning filmmaker Amoghavarsha, who introduced and articulated the vision behind Partners in Purpose. Known for his work celebrating nature and indigenous narratives, Amoghavarsha underscored the importance of preserving Bengaluru’s cultural ethos amid rapid urban growth, calling on city-builders to balance progress with sensitivity to place and people.
Designed as an intimate, invite-only forum, the gathering brought together civic voices alongside members of White Lotus Group’s extended ecosystem, including advisors, partners, and capital stakeholders. The diverse participation reflected a growing convergence of real estate, investment, culture, and social responsibility in shaping the city’s future.

Discussions ranged from Bengaluru’s cultural foundations and patterns of northward urban expansion to regenerative development models. Speakers emphasised the need for value-led growth rooted in community, belonging, and long-term intent.
Sustainability formed a central theme of the evening. Partners in Purpose was conducted as a plastic-free, carbon-neutral gathering, reflecting White Lotus Group’s commitment to responsible development. In collaboration with the 7-Trees Foundation, the group announced the planting of seven trees for every attendee as part of an afforestation initiative at its upcoming North Bengaluru project, White Lotus Amanvana. Nearly 700 trees will be planted as the development takes shape, translating dialogue into tangible environmental action.
The town hall also highlighted North Bengaluru as an emerging growth corridor with the potential to become the city’s next meaningful frontier. Participants reflected on the opportunity to shape the region through intentional planning, inclusive infrastructure, and a shared cultural ethos that balances growth with ecological and social responsibility.
