Samsung has announced a major push into next-generation residential climate control with the deployment of its integrated Smart Air Care ecosystem in Hyderabad, marking a significant escalation in AI-driven HVAC innovation for premium housing projects in India.
The rollout combines WindFree cooling, PM1.0-grade air purification, SmartThings-enabled connectivity, and AI-powered VRF infrastructure to deliver a unified system focused on comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality. The deployment is backed by a large-scale 4,864 HP AI-enabled VRF framework designed to optimize performance across high-density residential environments.
At the core of the system is Samsungโs WindFree technology, which eliminates direct cold airflow by dispersing air through thousands of micro-holes, maintaining stable thermal comfort without harsh drafts. Complementing this is an advanced PM1.0 filtration module capable of capturing ultrafine particulate matter and supporting healthier indoor environments amid rising urban pollution levels.
SmartThings integration extends control to mobile and voice interfaces, enabling remote monitoring, automated cooling routines, geofencing, and real-time energy tracking across connected residential ecosystems.
The AI-enabled VRF system further enhances efficiency through dynamic refrigerant pressure optimization and behavioral learning algorithms, targeting improved operational performance and reduced energy consumption in large-scale installations.
Samsung positioned the deployment as a benchmark for intelligent residential infrastructure tailored to Indiaโs climatic stressors, urban heat conditions, and escalating air quality challenges, signaling a shift toward fully connected, wellness-centric living environments.
