Oberoi Realty has emerged as the highest bidder for an 11-acre land parcel in Bandra East, Mumbai, with a bid value of Rs 5,400 crore for a 99-year lease. The land has a significant Floor Space Index (FSI) potential of 19.50 lakh sq ft, making it a valuable asset for the company. The Railway Land Development Authority (RLDA) opened the financial bids, and Oberoi Realty’s bid was the highest.
The company is awaiting further communication from RLDA regarding next steps in the process. This development is expected to strengthen Oberoi Realty’s position in the Mumbai real estate market. The land parcel is designated for development, and the company can leverage the FSI potential to create a significant real estate project.
Oberoi Realty’s financial performance has been stable, with a net profit of Rs 622.64 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, up from Rs 618.38 crore in the same period last year. The company’s total income rose to Rs 1,561.74 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal year, from Rs 1,460.27 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year.
