Mumbai Conclave to spotlight capital flows and next phase of realty growth
As India’s real estate sector enters a new growth cycle backed by policy reforms and rising institutional interest, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen is set to host ‘Excelerate 2026’, a one-day international conclave focused on investment and financing trends in the sector.
Scheduled for April 2, 2026, at the Trident Hotel Mumbai, the event will bring together developers, investors, policymakers and financial institutions to deliberate on capital flows, emerging asset classes and long-term growth opportunities in Indian real estate.
Growth momentum
The conclave comes at a time when the sector is witnessing strong tailwinds, driven by a decade of structural reforms including RERA, GST rationalisation and supportive monetary policies. These measures have significantly improved transparency and governance, boosting both domestic and foreign investor confidence.
Institutionalinvestments have more than doubled over the past four years and are expected to see similar growth in the coming years, with foreign capital now accounting for over half of total inflows. Public markets, too, have shown strong traction, with real estate firms raising over ₹26,000 crore in the year ending July 2025.

The event will feature a theme address by Prashant Sharma, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra, while Vikas Jain, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen, will deliver a special address focusing on the role of next-generation leadership.
Other key industry leaders, including Sandeep Runwal, Rajan Bandelkar, Niranjan Hiranandani and Atit Shah, are also expected to share their perspectives on the sector’s evolving investment landscape.

The conclave will host a series of panel discussions centred on financing and investment strategies. Key themes include the growing role of family offices, private equity trends, sustainability-linked financing, branded residences and the expanding role of REITs and InvITs in unlocking capital.
Industry experts from leading global and domestic firms are expected to participate, examining how evolving capital structures and regulatory frameworks are reshaping funding avenues for developers.

In addition to knowledge-sharing sessions, the event will feature curated networking opportunities, including an invite-only gala dinner aimed at fostering partnerships between developers, investors and financial institutions.
