HiLITE Group has launched construction of YOO Hub Trivandrum, a ₹300-crore IT workspace project at Technopark Phase III, with the development expected to generate around 5,000 direct jobs and strengthen Kerala’s technology ecosystem.
The groundbreaking ceremony was performed by Industries, IT & AI Minister P. K. Kunhalikutty, who said the project marks another milestone in Kerala’s emergence as a leading destination for technology and innovation. He noted that India’s first branded IT workspace, developed in collaboration with YOO, reflects growing confidence among global brands in the State’s IT sector.
Developed jointly with YOO and IWG, YOO Hub Trivandrum will be India’s first YOO-branded IT Park and the first IT project globally under the YOO brand. The project aims to combine luxury-inspired workplace design with flexible and hybrid work solutions to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses.
Spread across 5.37 lakh squaresquare feet on 1.88 acres, the development will include a basement, ground floor, two parking levels and 15 premium office floors. The Grade-A commercial space is designed to attract multinational corporations, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), technology firms, research institutions and emerging digital enterprises.
HiLITE Group Chairman P. Sulaiman said the project represents an investment in Kerala’s future by creating world-class infrastructure that supports businesses, attracts investment and generates employment. CEO Ajil Muhammed said the company aims to bridge the gap in premium office infrastructure required by multinational companies looking to expand in Kerala.
The project has also achieved LEED v4.1 BD+C Core and Shell Platinum pre-certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, highlighting its focus on sustainable development and environmentally responsible construction.
