Austrian decorative lighting major Eglo has announced plans to strengthen its footprint in India with the launch of 140 exclusive retail stores over the next 19 months.
Positioned as original manufacturers rather than traders, Eglo operates three global manufacturing units and emphasizes a centrally controlled business model that ensures consistency across markets. The brand highlights its inventory-backed lighting solutions as a key advantage for retail partners.
In a recent promotional reel, Eglo invited potential partners to invest from โน20 lakh onwards, positioning itself as the โmost preferred partnerโ for lighting retail. While the company has not yet specified the exact locations of the upcoming stores, the move underscores Egloโs intent to scale up its India presence rapidly.
Eglo, established in 1969 in Austria, is today among the leading decorative lighting brands worldwide, with operations in over 70 countries.
