The India Design ID Mumbai 2025-26 edition is set to celebrate the confluence of heritage and modernity with its theme, “The Age of Design Syncretism.” The event will feature various pavilions, including Experience, Editions, Design, ID Collectible, and Installations, showcasing craftsmanship through design, artistic installations, and luxury products.
The event will feature over 120 Indian and international luxury brands unveiling their latest collections in furniture, dรฉcor, lighting, and interiors. A special project, Neo Deco, will reimagine the spirit of Mumbai’s iconic Art Deco, featuring 40 contemporary pieces, including Maske Console by Puru Das of DeMuro Das. According to Puru, “The exhibit embodies the essence of Art Deco while avoiding pastiche. Itโs bold geometry and hand-textured bronze base evokes the movementโs theatricality.”
Misha Bains, fair director, explains that the event aims to promote craftsmanship and collaborations, bringing novelties to each edition. The event will also extend design into the world of culinary with bespoke tasting menus and design-inspired pop-ups.
The India Design ID Mumbai will take place at Jio World Garden, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East, from September 26 to 28, between 11am and 8pm. The event promises to be an exciting display of design syncretism, blending heritage and modernity in a celebration of craftsmanship and creativity.
