A joint venture between T&T Infra Ltd and Univastu India Ltd has secured a significant contract from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited for works under the Pune Metro project. The contract, valued at an estimated ₹229.97 crore, marks a major milestone in the expansion of urban transit infrastructure in Pune.
The scope of work includes the design and construction of a 1.123 km elevated metro viaduct on the Vanaz-Chandani Chowk corridor (Line-2A). The project also involves building two metro stations – Kothrud Bus Depot and Chandani Chowk – and an integrated double-decker flyover. Additionally, the work includes constructing a foot overbridge connecting the corridor to a national highway and stabling lines at the Bhakti Shakti end of the PCMC-Nigdi corridor.
