The Designer’s Class, India’s first holistic e-learning platform dedicated exclusively to design, has unveiled a comprehensive new interior design module in collaboration with celebrity designer Gauri Khan. Known for her elegant and versatile approach to interior spaces, Khan brings her expertise to this immersive course aimed at teaching students how to apply design theory to real-world spaces that are both functional and visually compelling.
The curriculum spans a wide array of topics, including the fundamentals of interior design, residential and retail spaces, restaurant and corporate interiors, space revamp techniques, lighting design, and sustainability. The module blends creative vision with practical application, allowing learners to explore how inspiration translates into tangible design.
Samarth Bajaj, Founder and Director of The Designer’s Class, emphasized the course’s wide accessibility. “This module is for anyone passionate about design — whether you’re 16 and exploring a future in the field, 60 and looking to learn something new, or even part of a professional design house seeking a refresher,” he said.
Launched in September 2021 by Edutechtionalists India Pvt. Ltd., The Designer’s Class has previously featured courses by some of India’s most celebrated designers, including Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Masaba Gupta, Payal Singhal, Kunal Rawal, and Rhea Kapoor. The platform aims to bridge the gap between aspiring designers and industry leaders, offering a unique learning experience through expert-led modules that combine artistic insight with technical proficiency.
