The Design Online Company unveiled at Panjim, Goa

Goa has recently witnessed its first design experience centre, The Design Online Company (TDOC), with an idea to deliver expertly curated sustainable construction and design solutions. The store officially opened its doors on May 4, 2024 in the State capital, Panjim.
Delivering the A to Z of architectural and interior solutions, TDOC, is a one-stop design concept store, spread across two floors. Backed by an incredible team, TDOC is a labour of love by architect Hemlata Pai Raikar.
“Having 60 years of combined design experience under our belts, our team of designers and innovators at TDOC are expertly equipped to conceptualise and execute everyone’s design dreams,” says Hemlata, TDOC founder, who wants to provide her clients an easy avenue to realise their dream projects.
Highlighting the importance of supporting local entrepreneurs who engage in sustainable construction and design, the chief guest at the store’s opening, minister and Valpoi MLA, Vishwajit Rane, expressed suiting designs as per people’s changing lifestyles.
“Architect Hemlata Pai Raikar has worked hard to take The Design Online Company’s innovative concept forward and transform the thought process in terms of design,” the minister said.
“This concept of taking the design process online, creating a mood board and theme that can be seen and discussed in the comfort of your own space, which was earlier unimaginable, is now possible,” he added.
Poriem MLA, Dr Deviya Vishwajit Rane, who was also present at the opening, spoke about how TDOC, is a one-of-a-kind space, with all design needs under one single roof.
“According to the co-founder of Apple Inc. Steve Jobs, ‘Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works’. This encapsulates TDOC’s goal,” she said.
Serving as a consultation and conceptualisation space for the architecture and interior design communities, TDOC allows people ample space to visualise their ideal architectural and interior décor needs.
TDOC prioritises both in-person and online consultations, offering people located out of Goa the same service perks as those present in-store.
