All Interests Aligned (AIA), a Switzerland-based investment platform, has acquired H. Mears (Furnishers) Ltd., a 220-year-old UK family business in carpets and flooring. The acquisition secures the future of the 33-employee team and preserves the company’s heritage.
H. Mears, founded in 1802 in Preston, Lancashire, is a sixth-generation family firm known for quality, craftsmanship, and customer relationships. Philip Cefai, former Managing Director of Crown Paints, will take over as CEO, driving growth and modernisation.
