Saint-Gobain, a global leader in sustainable construction, has successfully concluded the 19th edition of Transparence, India’s premier architectural and interior design competition. The event received over 1,200 registrations and 450 submissions from 100+ colleges nationwide according to a press release.
Under the theme “Reimagining Central Business Districts,” participants designed innovative solutions focusing on sustainability, accessibility, and community engagement. Mr. Unnikrishnan AR, Managing Director of Saint-Gobain India, stated, “Transparence has been a platform showcasing India’s brightest future talents in architecture and design.”
A distinguished panel of experts selected 13 finalists, who presented diverse sustainable solutions. The winners were Aashlesha Bhosali (Architecture) and P. Preeti (Interior Design), who received cash prizes worth INR 300,000.
Additionally, four students won the Saint-Gobain Grants Program, receiving INR 100,000 each to implement socially responsible design ideas. Smriti Sharma and Harsha Verma from SPA Bhopal will represent India at the international Architecture Student Contest (ASC) 2025 in Paris.
As Transparence 19.0 concludes, Saint-Gobain India Glass Business unveiled the 20th edition, Transparence 20.0, with the theme “India towards 2047: Crafting a New Design Vocabulary.”
