Puravankara Ltd has acquired nearly 10 acres of land in North Bengaluru to develop a new residential project with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 800 crore, strengthening its presence in one of Indiaโs fastest-growing property markets.
According to a regulatory filing, the company purchased a 9.73-acre land parcel at Sanna Ammanikere in North Bengaluru through an outright acquisition. The developer did not disclose the transaction value or the identity of the seller.
The project is expected to offer a development potential of approximately 0.89 million square feet, targeting rising housing demand in the northern corridor of Bengaluru, which continues to attract investments driven by infrastructure expansion, technology parks and improved connectivity.
The acquisition forms part of Puravankaraโs ongoing expansion strategy as the company seeks to capitalize on sustained demand in key urban markets. As of March 31, 2026, the developer had completed 95 projects spanning 57 million square feet across nine cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Goa.
The company currently holds a land bank of 40 million square feet, while its ongoing developments account for 36.69 million square feet, highlighting a robust project pipeline amid continued momentum in Indiaโs residential real estate sector.
The latest acquisition reinforces North Bengaluruโs emergence as a major residential investment destination, fueled by strong end-user demand and long-term urban growth prospects.
