Designers Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba return to Blisscape, the sofa system they created for Poltrona Frau last year, unveiling it during Milan Design Week in an even more complete and comfortable edition. The new version introduces an innovative 45ยฐ-tilted armchair designed to support every sitting position, ensuring maximum comfort. Taller, adjustable armrests, together with the deep chaise and pouf modules, allow for multidirectional compositions that are visually engaging. The systemโs modularity has been further expanded, with new elements that integrate seamlessly with existing catalogue pieces. Completing the collection, the designers present a new series of Blisscape tables, providing additional surfaces and increasing the overall versatility of the compositions.

Blisscape sofa exemplifies this philosophy perfectly. Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba are known for combining deep historical knowledge with a contemporary vision of society and modern living requirements. To meet the growing demand for personalized and diverse social spaces, they have enriched the Blisscape series with several new features, enhancing both usability and comfort.
The seat, now 10 cm deeper, and the 45ยฐ-tilted curved armchair are designed for taller users or anyone seeking a more relaxed posture. The vertical, generously sized armrest enhances the sofaโs โbathtubโ effect, creating a sense of a private alcove. It consists of a large cushion folded outward, resting on a rigid structure wrapped in Pelle Frauยฎ leather, curving elegantly along the side of the sofa. The armrest can also include an adjustable tilt mechanism.
The chaise terminal module allows for more open, asymmetrical layouts, comfortably accommodating up to two people. The Blisscape pouf, now available in deep versions, adds further flexibility: it can serve as a standalone piece opposite a linear sofa or be incorporated into a composition as informal seating, seamlessly integrating with one of the Blisscape tables.
The new Blisscape tables expand the sofaโs functionality, turning it into a truly multifunctional space. Surfaces, small shelves, coffee tables, and marble or Pelle Frauยฎ leather storage elements allow for reading, conversation, relaxation, or work without compromising the collectionโs elegance. The tables, available in round, rectangular, or square shapes, can be combined with each other and with sofas in multiple configurations: as side supports, coffee tables in front of seating, or integrated within the composition. While part of the Blisscape collection, the tables are fully compatible with other Poltrona Frau lines, ensuring limitless versatility.
These updates make Blisscape an even more inviting centerpiece in the living room, a customizable comfort oasis that adapts naturally to different needs and settings, offering a refined lounge experience.
The Blisscape table collection includes pieces suitable as side surfaces or stand-alone tables. Shapes are rectangular (90ร45, 100ร45, 150ร40 cm), square (100ร100 cm), or circular (120 cm diameter), with heights of 38 or 32 cm. The base is made of birch plywood and MDF covered in Pelle Frauยฎ ColorSphere Impact Less leather. Only the 100ร45 and 90ร45 versions feature a black-painted MDF plinth with visible stitching. Tabletops are either birch plywood with Pelle Frauยฎ ColorSphere Impact Less leather or 2 cm-thick marble slabs with rounded edges and reinforced undersides for durability.
The Blisscape collection will debut on April 14 at the Poltrona Frau flagship store in Milan, located at Via Manzoni 30. In the following months, the collection will be available at selected stores worldwide and through Poltrona Frauโs e-shops in key European markets.
