Strategic Move Strengthens UK Growth Strategy, Enhances Building Envelope Solutions
NorDan UK has acquired RED Systems, a UK-based specialist in architectural glazing, curtain walling, and façade systems. The acquisition marks a significant step in NorDan’s UK growth strategy, expanding its offering beyond windows and doors into integrated building envelope solutions.
The move combines NorDan’s expertise in timber and aluminium-clad windows and doors with RED Systems’ façade capability. The partnership aims to support earlier project involvement, improve coordination, and reduce risk. Craig Greenwood, MD of NorDan UK, said the acquisition brings together two businesses with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and delivery.
RED Systems has completed over 500 projects in the UK, with a reputation for high-quality, design-led façade solutions. Michael Green, MD of RED Systems, said the partnership strengthens their approach to quality and long-term client commitment.
