Nitte School of Fashion Technology & Interior Design (NSFTID), a constituent college of Nitte University, Bengaluru, has established itself as a centre of excellence in creative education. Founded in 2016, the institution offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in Interior Design and Fashion Design.
The Interior Design program at NSFTID equips students with foundational and advanced competencies for the creative industries. The institution’s focus on practical skills, industry linkages, and sustainability has led to numerous achievements. NSFTID has produced 35 university rank holders, and its students have secured top ranks in various design competitions.
The institution’s infrastructure includes well-equipped interior design laboratories, a library with a rich collection of print and digital resources, and career services. NSFTID’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in its Guinness World Record achievement for contributing to the largest number of plastic bottles collected for recycling in 12 hours.
The faculty members at NSFTID are highly accomplished educators, researchers, and industry professionals. They serve on Boards of Studies, contribute to national and international research journals, and guide students in competitions and final year projects.
NSFTID has received recognition for its excellence in design education, including the Best Fashion College and Best Fashion Design Institute awards in 2024.
