India’s furniture and interiors sector is set to take centre stage with the upcoming edition of imm india 2026, a dedicated B2B exhibition aimed at strengthening the country’s position in global sourcing and trade. Scheduled from March 11–14, 2026, at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, the event will bring together manufacturers, exporters, buyers, designers and industry stakeholders from India and overseas.
Organised by Koelnmesse, the exhibition will showcase a comprehensive range of products including solid wood and upholstered furniture, décor, rugs and carpets, mattresses, modular kitchens, surfaces, materials, components and smart living solutions. The platform is designed to facilitate structured buyer–seller meetings and direct sourcing opportunities across price segments and design categories.
The event comes at a time when India’s furniture market is projected to surpass USD 32 billion by 2027, supported by urbanisation, premium housing growth, hospitality expansion and increasing global demand for diversified sourcing destinations. Recent trade developments, including strengthened US–India commercial ties and the EU–India Free Trade Agreement, are expected to further enhance export competitiveness by reducing import duties on Indian furniture products and simplifying customs processes.
International buyer interest has been confirmed from key markets across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, positioning imm india as a focused sourcing destination. The show will feature dedicated zones such as The Sourcing Hub, curated trend areas and a structured Hosted Buyer Programme to ensure targeted business engagement.
The exhibition is backed by partnerships with the Buyers Agents Association (BAA) and several national industry bodies, creating a broad trade ecosystem across manufacturing and exports. More than 150 exhibitors, including established Indian brands and export houses, have confirmed participation.
In addition to product showcases, the four-day event will host conferences, knowledge sessions for architects and designers, and exhibitor awards recognising innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship.
With participation expected from bulk buyers, retailers, developers, hospitality groups and international trade delegations, imm india 2026 aims to position India at the forefront of the global furniture and interiors value chain.
