In a move that blends proptech with quick-commerce, House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) has partnered with Zepto to allow investors to browse and book branded plots in its Vrindavan township directly through the Zepto app.
With this tie-up, land transactions move closer to an e-commerce model: users can search for plots by typing โlandโ in the app, explore HoABLโs Vrindavan layouts, book through a refundable token, and connect with company experts over video consultationsโall within minutes.
For HoABL, which has 30 million sq. ft. under active development across locations including Alibaug, Ayodhya, Goa, and Nagpur, the partnership underscores a push to democratise access to land and expand the reach of its digitally driven, branded plot developments.
โOur mission is to make land ownership as simple and seamless as ordering online,โ said Saurabh Jain, CMO, HoABL. โZeptoโs platform takes our digital-first model to millions of new consumers, reinforcing land as both an aspirational and accessible investment.โ
The Vrindavan project is being positioned as a spiritual-cum-lifestyle investment hub, with premium plots designed for second homes and future developments. By launching during Janmashtami, HoABL is aligning with the cultural ethos of the temple town, while tapping into rising demand for plotted developments in Tier-II and pilgrimage destinations.
Real estate analysts note that the initiative is part of a broader trend where developers are leveraging technology to simplify land ownership, particularly in smaller cities where branded plots offer clarity of title, planned layouts, and future community infrastructureโelements often missing in unorganised land sales.
The company, founded in 2020 by Abhinandan Lodha, has already established a footprint in nine Indian cities and plans to invest INR3,000 crore in plotted developments across six new markets, including Amritsar and Shimla.
