Gauri Khan, acclaimed interior designer and Celebrity Mentor at the New York Institute of Fashion (NIF Global), honored the rising stars of India’s interior design world at the NIF Global Interior Design Excellence Awards. The event, held amidst much fanfare, celebrated exceptional creativity, innovation, and talent from NIF Global campuses across the country.
Addressing an audience of students, faculty, and distinguished guests, Gauri Khan shared her vision of interior design. “Design is about creating experiences—how we live, feel, and connect with spaces,” she said. “What I see today is extraordinary. You are shaping environments that inspire and elevate everyday living.”
The awards recognized top-performing students and faculty for their excellence in design. Winning campuses included Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, and several others across India. The ceremony underscored NIF Global’s commitment to fostering design leaders through its innovative, industry-focused education model.
Khan also shared valuable advice with students: “Let light guide your designs. Minimalism has magic, and honesty in your craft will always outlast trends.”
