The much-awaited Design Democracy 2025 will take place from September 5–7 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, celebrating interiors, architecture, product design, and art. Founded by Shailja Patwari, Pallika Sreewastav, and Arjun Rathi, the event aims to redefine Indian design by blending culture, craft, and dialogue.
Featuring over 120 brands and studios, the forum offers a three-day program of showcases, discussions, and networking. Organized around three thematic zones—Atelier (materials and processes), Canvas (craft storytelling), and Muse(boundary-pushing innovation)—it highlights the evolving design landscape in India.
A key highlight is DD Talks, a two-day series of panel discussions and keynotes with 40+ speakers, alongside the Museum of Telangana, curated by architect Supraja Rao, showcasing the harmony of heritage and modernity.
This edition also includes a special pavilion curated by Sussanne Khan, emphasizing integrated design and immersive spaces. With industry-first features and collaborations, the event reflects India’s growing global design influence.
Since 2021, Design Democracy has become a cultural anchor, fostering dialogue on design’s future while celebrating innovation, craftsmanship, and commerce.
