Action TESA, a pioneer in engineered wood panel products, has launched the Carpenter Academy alongside its flagship Certificate Program in Wood Panel Processing Techniques. This initiative, in collaboration with the MSME Technology Centre Sitarganj, seeks to empower the children of carpenters and aspiring youth by equipping them with specialized skills in engineered wood panel processing, opening doors to sustainable careers.
The first batch of 30 students commenced training at the Academyโs inauguration, attended by senior leadership from Action TESA and MSME representatives. Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Ajay Aggarwal, Managing Director of Action TESA, emphasized, โCarpenters are the backbone of our industry. This Academy is a step toward empowering their children with modern skills and creating a self-reliant workforce.โ
The program includes 330 hours of training with a 60% practical focus, free lodging, and meals. Students gain hands-on experience in furniture manufacturing, carpentry tools, and finishing techniques, complemented by entrepreneurship and soft skill modules.
Open to candidates aged 18โ35 with at least an 8th-grade education, the program reflects Action TESAโs commitment to grassroots development and aligns with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. This initiative sets a benchmark for skill-building in Indiaโs carpentry sector.
