BigBloc Construction Ltd, one of the largest manufacturers of Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) Blocks and Panels in India, has reported consolidated Revenue from Operations at Rs. 56.36 crore for Q1 FY2025-2026, a growth of 9.3% year-over-year. The company’s EBITDA stood at Rs. 1.29 crore. Despite short-term challenges in the AAC block industry, including a fall in block prices and slowdown in India’s construction sector, BigBloc Construction remains confident about its growth prospects as per a press release.
According to Mr. Narayan Saboo, the Chairman, “The AAC block industry is facing short-term challenges including fall in block prices and slowdown in Indiaโs construction sector, which is key demand driver for our products. Prolonged monsoon conditions also disrupted site operations, logistics, and supply chains. This all has impacted companyโs results as well. Going forward we are confident to strongly bounce back with focus on improving operational efficiencies, strategic expansion along with new product launches and value addition.” The company has recently acquired 57,500 sq. mts of land in Madhya Pradesh to establish Indiaโs largest greenfield AAC blocks facility.
BigBloc Construction has also entered the construction chemicals segment, manufacturing Block Jointing Mortar, Ready Mix Plaster, and Tile Adhesives. With its ongoing expansion plans, BigBloc Construction is well-positioned to reinforce its leadership in the sector. The company remains committed to innovation, value creation for stakeholders, and aligning its operations with global ESG standards.
