Al Ghurair Development has introduced Al Ghurair Collection, a new super-prime residential portfolio that showcases the company’s six-decade legacy. The collection’s debut project, Wedyan, is a waterfront residence designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, located along Dubai Canal.
Wedyan is a 46-storey high-rise building featuring 149 residences with a mix of three-, four-, and five-bedroom layouts, two full-floor penthouses, and a three-storey sky villa. The residences offer generous outdoor living spaces, additional back-of-house kitchens, and specialized glazing to protect artworks from UV rays. Some residences also come with standalone Japanese teahouse-inspired pavilions.
The building boasts over 65,000 sq ft of amenity space, including The Oasis arrival experience, The Shore and The Valley for active living and leisure, The Cave wellness cocoon, and The Mountain private meeting space. Other amenities include a reformer Pilates studio, podcast room, boxing facilities, filtered air and water systems, and private treatment rooms.
Sultan Al Ghurair, CEO of Al Ghurair Development, said, “Al Ghurair Collection marks a new chapter for us. We created Al Ghurair Collection to develop buildings that donโt exist elsewhere.”
John Iossifidis, Group CEO of Al Ghurair, added, “The launch of Al Ghurair Collection represents a defining milestone for Dubaiโs real estate sector… We will create visionary projects, build with purpose, and deliver spaces that provide enduring value.”
Kengo Kuma, Architect, said, “Wedyan is a dialogue between Japanese aesthetics and the context of Dubai… Our purpose is to bring softness to the design and to create quietness through shadows that cascade and reflect across the faรงade, terraces and amenity spaces.”
