The National Gallery, London has shortlisted six architectural firms for its new £750m wing, Project Domani. The firms include Foster + Partners, Selldorf Architects, and Kengo Kuma & Associates, among others. The selected architect will be announced in April 2026, with the new wing expected to complete by 2030.
“The museum looks forward to welcoming new donors and partners to help us realise this shared ambition,” said Gabriele Finaldi, Director, The National Gallery.
The project aims to expand the gallery’s collection, create an acquisition fund for modern artworks, and ensure the gallery’s long-term financial stability.
