ABDA Design, a renowned hospitality design consultancy, has announced a significant transition in leadership. Long-serving directors Claire Smith and Richard Steade have taken over the reins, ensuring the company’s continued success and future growth.
With a deep understanding of the company’s values, Smith and Steade are committed to maintaining ABDA Design’s legacy while bringing fresh ideas to the table. The consultancy offers a range of services, including interior design, brand development, commercial kitchens, and build and interior fit-out.
David Summers, who led the business for almost three decades, will continue to work within the company. Smith and Steade bring a wealth of experience to their new roles, with a combined expertise in interior and kitchen design.
“We want to build on the solid foundations of the business and work with our existing team to develop it for the future,” said Richard Steade, Joint Managing Director. “I’ve got lots of new ideas I want to bring to the business, including strengthening our work on sustainability.”
