Brigade Enterprises Limited has announced its entry into Coimbatore’s residential real estate market with a 5.4-acre development in Saravanampatti, under a Joint Development Agreement (JDA), with a projected Gross Development Value (GDV) of approximately ₹600 crore.
The project is located within Coimbatore’s emerging IT and business corridor, with access to major Special Economic Zones (SEZs), IT parks and established social infrastructure, including educational institutions, retail centres and healthcare facilities.
The Coimbatore entry expands Brigade’s residential footprint in South India and comes as the city gains traction as an emerging business and technology destination. Saravanampatti, in particular, has witnessed increasing development activity driven by the expansion of IT and commercial infrastructure and growing demand for housing closer to employment hubs.
Commenting on the expansion, Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises Limited, said Coimbatore’s diversified economic base, talent pool, social infrastructure and infrastructure pipeline make it a high-growth real estate market.

The developer currently has approximately 16 million sq ft of projects in the pipeline in Chennai, strengthening its position in Tamil Nadu’s real estate market.
The Coimbatore project marks Brigade’s latest geographic expansion in South India as the developer continues to diversify its residential portfolio across established and emerging urban markets.
