Batley Family Manufacturer Joins Tiger Parent Company
Two West Yorkshire businesses have come together, as Woodlands Home & Garden Group, the home and garden specialist behind consumer brand Tiger, confirms its acquisition of Jade Windows. Jade Windows is a family-run window and door manufacturer based on Bradford Road, Batley. Founded 30 years ago and now in its second generation, Jade designs, manufactures and fits uPVC and aluminium windows, doors and solid-roof conservatories from its facility. It serves homeowners, trade customers and commercial clients across West and South Yorkshire, with commercial work including projects for Burberry and the Red Brick Mill development.
The acquisition adds Jade to a group that already employs more than 210 people across its consumer, trade and timber divisions. Leeds-based Woodlandsโ Tiger brand operates more than 30 showsites across the UK, with the network continuing to grow. The deal is designed to extend Woodlandsโ reach into the wider home improvement category and reinforces the groupโs position as one of the regionโs largest privately-owned home and garden businesses. The acquisition is the latest stage in a multi-year growth programme at Woodlands, following its December 2023 purchase of modular garden room manufacturer My Modular, which now trades as Tiger Modular.
ย Jade will retain its name, its Batley manufacturing operation and its existing team, with Ryan Fozard continuing to lead the business in his capacity as MD. The integration mirrors the approach Woodlands took to its previous acquisition. Ryan Fozard, managing director of Jade Windows, said Jade was started by his dad, David Fozard, and they have spent 30 years building it into something they are hugely proud of, here in Batley. What mattered most for the next chapter was finding a partner who understood what makes Jade, Jade, the people, the craftsmanship, and the relationships built locally over decades. Woodlands is that partner.

We learned a lot from the Tiger Modular integration about supporting an acquired business sympathetically, and that template applies here. Our focus is bringing the best of both together, the Jade offer to our customer base, and Woodlandsโ operational experience of scaling, alongside our marketing reach and infrastructure, to support Jadeโs growth. The Batley facility continues production of uPVC and aluminium windows, doors and conservatories. The move signals continued consolidation in the UK home improvement sector, with regional specialists joining larger groups to access scale while maintaining local craftsmanship and brand identity across Yorkshire.
