Wonder Cement has signed three long-term solar open-access power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Sunsure Energy, securing 30 MWp of solar power for its facilities in Dhule, Maharashtra, and Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. This partnership marks a significant step in Wonder Cement’s sustainability drive, reducing its reliance on grid power and offsetting 33,000 metric tonnes of COโ emissions annually.

The solar power will be sourced from Sunsure Energy’s 150 MWp plant in Solapur and 49 MWp plant in Augasi. Wonder Cement will source up to 67% of its power consumption in Dhule and 52% in Aligarh through renewable energy, supporting its commitment to sustainability.
