High-end design and luxury furniture brand Visionnaire unveiled its redesigned flagship store in Milan recently, according to a press release. The store, a benchmark for its six other directly operated boutiques globally, has been revamped under the creative direction of Eleonore Cavalli, Art Director, Visionnaire.
Located in a 1962 building, originally the Cavour cinema, the redesigned store celebrates the Italian soul of the maison. The new space reflects the brand’s stylistic evolution and its ability to weave a cultural dialogue with international realities.
“The company’s vision is varied in many ways, extending beyond the holistic approach and the use of colors to include, first and foremost, the language itself. At Visionnaire, products are called artefacts because, the term ‘product’ is linked to industry, whereas ‘artefacts’ evoke a strong sense of craftsmanship and haute coutureโelements that distinguish them from much of the design industry,” says Eleonore Cavalli, Art Director, Visionnaire.
The store features various conceptual environments, each defined by materials and architectural details. The space unfolds across three levels, designed to lead visitors through a progressive experience. A distinctive element is the Art gallery, Wunderkammer, a space dedicated to the meeting between art and design.
