Retail Giant Expands Home Goods Portfolio
Bed Bath & Beyond has agreed to acquire The Container Store for about $150 million in stock and convertible notes. The brand will join its new parent company’s omnichannel retail group alongside (link unavailable), BuyBuy Baby, and the newly acquired Kirkland’s. The deal is expected to close in July and marks a significant move in Bed Bath & Beyond’s efforts to revamp its business.
