NBCC (India) Limited and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) have collaborated to transform the iconic Siri Fort Auditorium Complex in New Delhi into a next-generation cultural and cinematic powerhouse. The project aims to fuse India’s rich creative heritage with world-class infrastructure.
The revamped complex will feature a vibrant cultural district with multiple creative domains, seamlessly integrating various aspects such as a Performance and Theatre District for large-scale productions and concerts, an Indian Film & Media Hub for screenings, exhibitions, and archival storytelling, a Convention and Dialogue Forum for policy summits and seminars, an Arts and Culture Zone for visual arts, sculpture, and installations, a Culinary Plaza showcasing India’s regional cuisines, a Cultural Bazaar and Retail Zone for artisan products and book fairs, and an Immersive Heritage Gallery with cutting-edge digital technology to bring India’s history and cultural legacy to life.
The project will incorporate sustainable architecture and climate responsibility, conforming to international green building benchmarks such as LEED, IGBC, and GRIHA. NBCC will oversee the project as the Project Management Consultant.
