US-based PPG recently showcased its latest innovations to members of the analyst community at its global Coatings Innovation Center in Allison Park, PA. The event focused on advancements in innovative and sustainably advantaged solutions that enhance productivity and reflect the companyโs goals of helping customers lower costs, drive operational excellence, and accelerate organic growth.
PPG highlighted several recent innovations, including its Precision Application automotive OEM overspray-free coating system, which reduces energy consumption and application time. The company also showcased its PPG CORASEAL and PPG CORASHIELD 4-Wet Advantage coatings, which reduce energy consumption and emissions for both water-based and solvent basecoat systems. Other innovations included low-temperature, expanded-bake electrocoat, PPG STEELGUARD 951 coating for fire protection, and PPG NUTRISHIELD MAX metal packaging coatings that offer non-BPA internal solutions.
These innovations aim to enhance customer productivity and support PPG’s goals. The company’s Architectural Coatings products, including an advanced water-based portfolio, hold a strong #1 or #2 position in over 15 countries. PPG’s marine coatings, such as PPG SIGMAGLIDE 2390 coating, help prevent fouling and marine growth, enhancing efficiency and vessel performance. Additionally, PPG’s LINQ digital ecosystem and powder platform demonstrate the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.
