For Milan Design Week, Poltrona Frau introduces the Parka seating collection, an innovative modular sofa series created in collaboration with renowned designers Draga & Aurel. The collection is part of the 2024 Imagine Collection, which emphasizes the theme of “softness” and invites creativity to transform interior spaces into personal and relatable environments.
Draga & Aurel, based in Como, Italy, bring their multidisciplinary expertise and commitment to upcycling and textile innovation to this collaboration. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Parka jacketโa symbol of comfort, versatility, and effortless styleโthe design combines functionality with a bold aesthetic.
The Parka sofa mirrors the jacketโs adaptability, with soft, padded upholstery and a unique elliptical backrest that flows seamlessly into the armrest and seat. The design creates a welcoming and versatile concave or convex space, suited to a variety of interiors while maintaining a strong, individual character.

The modular system includes customizable elements, available in Pelle Frauยฎ leather or a leather-fabric combination, with tone-on-tone stitching completing the design.
