Otis India, a subsidiary of Otis Worldwide Corporation has contributed to the smooth and efficient movement of 25 million passengers annually at the newly inaugurated, state-of-the-art Terminal 2 at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR Airport).
To meet the high demands of this project, Otis India supplied 29 escalators, 50 elevators, two dumb waiters and 26 moving walks (travelators), for a total of 107 units. Each unit is designed with a focus on passenger experience and uses regenerative drives for energy-efficient operation.
Otis India is excited to be a part of this milestone project, which is designed as a tribute to the Garden City of Bengaluru. The passenger experience at this terminal has been aptly described as a ‘walk in the garden’ and Otis India played a pivotal role in making this experience – and movement throughout the terminal – exceptional.
