Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials and contracting agencies to accelerate the construction of Amaravati while ensuring the highest standards of quality across all projects. Reviewing the progress of thecapital city’s development at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister reiterated his vision of building Amaravati into a world-class capital that reflects India’s aspirations.
During the review meeting, officials informed the Chief Minister that infrastructure works worth โน50,999 crore have already been awarded. The projects include residential developments and key government landmarks such as the Assembly, High Court, Secretariat Towers, and other civic infrastructure.
Construction activity is currently underway with the support of more than 26,900 workers and 5,140 heavy machines, reflecting the scale of the capital city’s development.
Emphasising timely execution, Naidu instructed contractors to deploy additional manpower and equipment to expedite construction while maintaining uncompromising quality standards. He stressed that every aspect of Amaravati’s development should meet global benchmarks, ensuring the capital city becomes a source of pride for Andhra Pradesh and thenation.
