Midea Group, a leading global technology company, has acquired Teka Group, a Germany-based multinational supplier of kitchen appliances and related products. The acquisition strengthens Teka Group’s global competitiveness and positions it for rapid expansion in new product categories and markets.
Teka Group will enhance its operations, expand its product lines, and enter new product categories, leveraging Midea’s global operations and research and development capabilities to unlock synergies. The combined entity will provide consumers worldwide with comprehensive and innovative home solutions.
Currently present in over 100 countries, Teka specializes in designing and manufacturing cooktops, range hoods, stainless steel sinks, and faucets. Its main brands include Teka, Kรผppersbusch, and Intra. Midea Group operates in more than 120 countries, and this acquisition will further expand its reach.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, and Teka Rus LLC is excluded from the deal. According to corporate officials, the acquisition will enable both organizations to provide consumers with even more comprehensive and innovative home solutions.
