Asian Granito India Limited, one of the largest Luxury Surfaces and Bathware Solutions brands in the country, has reported a strong operational and financial performance for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, signalling renewed momentum for the surfaces and building materials sector. For FY26, the company reported consolidated net profit after tax of Rs 18.74 crore, representing an 89.69% increase over FY25. Revenue from Operations for FY26 was up 8.60% to Rs 1,858.06 crore as per a press release. Earnings Before Interest Tax Depreciation and Amortization for FY26 was reported at Rs 120.42 crore with an EBITDA margin of 6.48%, compared to EBITDA of Rs 104.37 crore and a 6.10% margin in FY25. The performance was supported by healthy market demand, improved operational efficiencies, enhanced product mix, and continued expansion across domestic markets.
Kamlesh Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, said, โWe have emerged stronger through this challenging period and remain confident about our growth trajectory going forward. Healthy domestic demand, improved operational efficiencies, and stronger gross margins contributed to our performance during the year. We are encouraged by the positive demand environment and the normalization of production across all manufacturing facilities. While higher gas prices and elevated export freight costs remain industry challenges, strong domestic demand and our expanding market presence position us well for sustained growth. We remain focused on strengthening our brand, distribution network, and product portfolio while pursuing our long-term vision of becoming a Rs 6,000 crore revenue company over the next three to six years.โ
Domestic Demand and Manufacturing Normalization
The company said its business has normalized with all manufacturing units operational. Asian Granito India continues to witness strong demand and is focusing more on the domestic market as export container prices have escalated due to geopolitical uncertainty. While all plants are operational now, some labour problems are still there and the company is hopeful to resolve it soon. However, short-term challenges remain with an increase in gas price. For architects, interior designers, and specifiers, the normalization of production means improved availability of large-format tiles, engineered surfaces, and bathware lines that were previously constrained. The shift toward domestic focus also indicates deeper inventory and faster lead times for ongoing residential, hospitality, and commercial projects across India.
Asian Granito Indiaโs results are relevant to the architecture and interiors community because they reflect broader material trends: rising adoption of luxury surfaces, demand for coordinated bathware solutions, and preference for domestic sourcing amid global freight volatility. The 8.60% revenue growth and 15.38% EBITDA growth point to healthier gross margins, which often translate into reinvestment in design collections, slab technologies, and experience formats that designers rely on. The companyโs emphasis on enhanced product mix suggests more value-added finishes, textures, and sizes entering the market, giving professionals wider palettes for flooring, cladding, and wet areas. Improved operational efficiencies also support consistent quality and shade matching, critical for large-scale projects where tile batch variation impacts execution.
As Asian Granito India continues to expand its scale and market presence, sustainability remains an integral part of its long-term growth strategy. The company focuses on responsible manufacturing practices across its facilities, which adhere to internationally recognized ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. The companyโs long-term value creation initiatives include the use of natural gas, zero-waste processes, rainwater harvesting systems at manufacturing locations, and renewable energy generation through its Solar Energy and windmill project. For green building consultants and firms targeting Indian Green Building Council or GRIHA compliance, these practices strengthen the specification case for Asian Granito products. Natural gas usage, rainwater harvesting, and renewable energy contribute to lower embodied carbon and water-positive narratives, increasingly demanded in institutional and premium residential tenders.
In addition, the company is strengthening its customer-centric ecosystem through the expansion of modern experience centers, digital engagement platforms, and the โAGL Tilesโ mobile application. These initiatives are aimed at improving customer experience, enhancing channel partner connectivity, and supporting sustainable growth through technology-driven engagement and operational excellence. For designers, the expansion of experience centers means better access to full-slab viewing, application mock-ups, and technical support before specification. The mobile application and digital platforms simplify sample requests, technical datasheets, and visualisation, reducing project timelines. With strong domestic demand driving performance and a clear roadmap toward Rs 6,000 crore revenue, Asian Granito Indiaโs FY26 results indicate that the surfaces segment remains a key growth driver within Indiaโs architecture and interiors ecosystem, directly influencing material libraries, vendor shortlists, and finish schedules for the year ahead.
