The Jacksonville Jaguars’ Stadium of the Future, designed by HOK, is taking shape with construction advancing on the exterior, concourse, and signature canopy structure. The $1.4 billion renovation aims to transform EverBank Stadium into a year-round destination for sports, entertainment, and community life.
Sustainable Design
The stadium’s design incorporates sustainable elements, reducing embodied carbon by preserving the existing structure while adding new technologies, amenities, and green spaces. The transparent canopy will cover and cool the building, reducing heat retention by over 70%.
Enhanced Fan Experience
Fans will enter through a subtropical Floridian park, leading to a 360-degree concourse with city and river views. The interior design reflects Jacksonville’s natural and cultural character, with premium clubs, bars, and local food options.
Construction Updates
Construction is underway on the expanded main concourse, scenic corner lookout decks, and future field-level seating. The Jaguars will play at EverBank Stadium in 2026 at reduced capacity and relocate for the 2027 season, with the Stadium of the Future scheduled to open in 2028.
