US-based workspace ergonomics company Humanscale announced strategies to further solidify its commitment to the Indian market recently. The company plans to launch new products, expand its retail presence, and initiate localized manufacturing in India as per a press release.
Humanscale has been present in India for over a decade and sells its award-winning products through its authorized distribution partner, S Cube Ergonomics Pvt Ltd. The company has recently launched several products in India, including the “Perfect Workstation,” a comprehensive solution featuring an H-Frame Linear Workstation combined with a height-adjustable desk, ergonomic chair, monitor arm, docking station, and keyboard system.
Other innovative products include the “Smart Conference Chair,” designed for comfort during long meetings, “Active Pony,” promoting movement and better posture, and “Float Mini,” a compact height-adjustable desk for smaller workspaces.
As part of its strategy, Humanscale plans to initiate localized manufacturing in India, reducing shipping distances and costs. The company aims to start manufacturing chairs, monitor arms, and other products in India in the next 2-3 months, making its products more affordable for Indian customers and creating more jobs in the region.
Additionally, Humanscale aims to expand its retail presence in India by establishing a presence in 50 multi-branded stores by mid-2026. The company will target high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, and business owners seeking ergonomic solutions for their home offices or personal office spaces.
Alastair Stubbs, Country Director India, Humanscale, said, “Our message is simple: invest in ergonomics today to avoid lifelong health challenges. Proper posture and well-designed workstations not only improve productivity but also enhance overall well-being.”
Stubbs added, “At Humanscale, our mission is to create an ergonomic India. For over a decade, weโve been dedicated to spreading awareness and advocating for preventive measures rather than reactive solutions. Together, we can ensure that health and wellness are at the forefront of every workplace.”
