Holmes Miller Limited (HM) has completed the acquisition of Coltart Earley Architecture (CEA), a Glasgow-based architectural practice founded in 1990. CEA is known for its design excellence and high-quality projects in social housing, conservation, and community-focused developments. The acquisition will see CEA’s team remain fully engaged in ongoing projects, including the Cairn Road residential project for East Ayrshire Council and 98 new Passivhaus homes for East Dunbartonshire Council.
The acquisition will enable clients to benefit from Holmes Miller’s national scale, sectoral expertise, and specialist resources. CEA will operate under its established name for the immediate future. Bill Coltart, co-founder of CEA, will continue to play an active role in the business, ensuring continuity of CEA’s brand and values.
