Google has leased a substantial 617,000 square feet of office space at Atrium Place, a joint venture between DLF and Hines, in one of the largest commercial real estate deals in India this year. The lease underscores Google’s commitment to expanding its operations and strengthening its physical footprint in the Indian market.
This lease follows Google’s previous acquisition of 550,000 square feet from managed workspace provider Table Space in Gurugram. Industry insiders reveal that Google maintains a stringent checklist before finalizing office spaces, considering factors such as infrastructure, sustainability, connectivity, and amenities. Atrium Place meets these exacting requirements, making it a strategic choice for the tech giant.
The Delhi NCR commercial real estate market has shown remarkable resilience and growth, with Gurugram emerging as a preferred hub for multinational companies. According to Cushman & Wakefield, the region recorded a gross leasing volume of 5.1 million square feet in the third quarter of 2025, marking a 10% increase from the previous quarter and a 56% rise year-on-year.
Atrium Place offers world-class amenities, advanced office infrastructure, and excellent transport connectivity, making it an ideal location for technology firms. This development is expected to further strengthen Gurugram’s position as a leading commercial real estate destination in the country.
