Design Mumbai has announced the first names confirmed for its second edition, scheduled to take place from November 26-29, 2025, at Jio World Garden in Mumbai. The event promises to deliver a world-class platform that bridges India’s creative energy with global innovation, spotlighting local talent and fostering meaningful connections across the hospitality, retail, workplace, and residential sectors. Design Mumbai 2025 will feature a curated selection of international design brands and local independent studios.
One of the highlights of the event is the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) showcase with Phantom Hands and Adam Markowitz, featuring a landmark collaboration that spotlights the sustainable use of American cherry, maple, and red oak in a range of sculptural pieces of furniture. Set Up Co. will also be present, featuring Japanese brands Kakuhan, a specialist alternative plastering company, and Reset, which makes handcrafted wooden furniture produced in its own woodworking studio. Lux Temporis, a French mother and daughter duo, will present kinetic lighting creations that merge mechatronics and nature in a mesmerizing fusion of art and engineering.
The event will also feature established brands returning to Design Mumbai, including Ceccotti and Poltrona Frau, Hรคstens, Istituto Marangoni, USM (presented by Cocre8), Loco Design, Light Forms Asia, Infiniti, and Vondom (presented by ABACA). Indian design talent will also be showcased, with Karkhana known for collectible pieces at the intersection of art and design, and Chacko, a bespoke furniture studio focusing on local craftsmanship. Hearty Muse Atelier will offer luxurious rugs, statement lighting, and custom-made furniture, while Sarvatva, founded by three women designers in 2024, will blend ancient Indian philosophies with contemporary aesthetics through handcrafted teak wood furniture made by master artisans from Saharanpur. Hobo Houz, established by textile designer and pen-and-ink artist Varsha Patra, will showcase the intricate art of Aari embroidery translated into contemporary lifestyle pieces.
Other returning exhibitors from the inaugural edition include Stonelite, AKFD Studio, Rvardรฉ, Shailesh Rajput Studio, FAZO Project, and Lila. The event will also feature a highly curated exhibitor line-up, the Design Mumbai Exchange talks programme, exclusive design installations, and industry-focused networking events. Design Mumbai is an international trade event for design, architecture, and interiors professionals, capturing the creative energy and consumer power of India, the world’s fifth biggest economy.
