First-of-Its-Kind Property Showcase Strengthens Residential Transaction Ecosystem
Expo Overview
CREDAI-MCHI hosted a property expo for channel partners at the Jio World Convention Centre in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The event brought together five thousand channel partners and forty-eight associations to bridge the connection between developers and homebuyers. For the architecture and interiors ecosystem, such platforms influence how residential inventory, design intent, and home solutions reach end-users. Channel partners drive sixty per cent of real estate sales in the region. The initiative recognises the contribution of these partners across the real estate value chain. The expo serves as a platform for engagement to create a pathway for homebuyers. Partners from Mumbai, Pune, and Nasik participated in the event.
Partner Network Scale
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region comprises forty-five thousand to sixty thousand active channel partners. Between twelve thousand and eighteen thousand partners operate as institutional or semi-organised players. These partners influence residential transactions across the region. For developers and design consultants, this network is a critical distribution layer for communicating project USPs, unit configurations, material specs, and fit-out options. The initiative simplifies the journey for homebuyers and enhances transparency and trust. This approach contributes to decisions made by homebuyers through engagement with developers and project teams. The expo enables knowledge exchange, networking, inventory access, and partnership.
Ecosystem Growth
The ecosystem grows between ten and fifteen per cent annually. Organised institutional firms expand between eighteen and twenty-five per cent every year. Demand is fuelled by residential needs, redevelopment, infrastructure, and lead generation in Thane, Navi Mumbai, and the Western suburbs. The residential market in the region accounts for thirty thousand quarterly housing sales. For interior brands, modular furniture, kitchen, and smart-home solution providers, channel partners act as specifiers who translate buyer lifestyle needs into product choices. Their feedback loops help architects and developers align layouts, MEP provisions, and amenity programming with market expectations.
Trust and Transparency
Boman Irani said that trust remains a currency in real estate and requires partnership across the ecosystem. He said that the connection between homebuyers and developers through channel partners addresses a link in the transaction journey. He said that informed channel partners build trust with customers. Homebuyers seek confidence before making investments. Rushi Mehta said that the process is built on transparency and the factor of trust. He said that RERA provides homebuyers with access to information regarding project approvals and inventory. He said that transactions depend on human trust while technology enables engagement. For building systems and material suppliers, this trust layer is key to adoption of new products, certifications, and performance claims at the point of sale.
Market Dynamics
Sukhraj Singh Nahar said that channel partners act as ambassadors and drive sixty per cent of residential transactions. He said that the expo recognises their contribution and brings the ecosystem onto a platform. Engagement with fifty developers creates an environment for the next phase of growth in the real estate sector. Nikunj Sanghavi said that real estate enables growth and empowers buyers to make decisions. He said that customers choose homes that fit aspirations and lifestyle. He said that pricing is a function of demand and supply. Jitendra Mehta said that the growth story is driven by aspirations and purchasing capacity. He said that impact from uncertainties remains a blip. He said that support around buying and selling is critical for investments.

From luxury towers to redevelopment projects, the inventory reflects how material palettes, faรงade systems, and home automation are being positioned to match buyer segments across price bands.
Industry Alignment
The real estate sector is projected to contribute fifteen per cent to the gross domestic product in a โน5,00,000 crore economy. The industry is progressing toward a โน1,00,000 crore market.
