Marriott International has strengthened its presence in the Delhi-NCR market with the opening of Courtyard by Marriott Ghaziabad, marking the brand’s debut in the city. Located in Rajnagar Extension, one of Ghaziabad’s rapidly developing commercial and residential corridors, the 106-key hotel is positioned to cater to business travellers, weddings, social events and leisure demand.
The opening underscores Marriott’s continued focus on high-growth secondary urban markets within the NCR region, supported by improving infrastructure and growing corporate activity. The property benefits from connectivity to Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Meerut through major expressways and the Delhi–Meerut Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS).
“Delhi NCR continues to grow as one of India’s most dynamic economic corridors, and Ghaziabad plays an increasingly important role in driving business, infrastructure development and domestic travel demand,” said Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International. “As the city evolves into a thriving commercial and residential destination, we see a strong opportunity for the Courtyard by Marriott brand.”
The hotel features 106 guestrooms and suites, designed with flexible workspaces and modern amenities aimed at both business and leisure travellers. Food and beverage offerings include L3 Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant serving global and regional cuisine, and Yard & Brew, a lobby lounge and bar.
To tap into the city’s growing meetings and celebrations segment, the hotel offers over 8,000 sq. ft. of event space, including a 5,100 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom equipped for corporate events, conferences and weddings.
The property also houses a spa, fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
“We look forward to becoming an integral part of Ghaziabad’s growing community and a destination where travellers and locals alike can gather, connect and celebrate,” said Praveen Sharma, Hotel Manager, Courtyard by Marriott Ghaziabad.
With this opening, Marriott continues to deepen its presence across emerging urban centres, capitalising on rising demand for branded hospitality accommodation in key growth markets.
