Cosentino, a family-owned company specialising in surfaces for architecture and design, recently hosted the C Next Designers convention in Almeria, Spain. The event brought together nearly 300 renowned creatives and brands, including Dornbracht, Expormim, Vibia, and Gaggenau, to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
The convention featured roundtables, panels, and keynote speeches, including a talk by Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis, who shared her insights on luxury residential design. Other highlights included exhibits at Cabogata Beach Hotel, workshops showcasing local crafts, and the launch of Cosentino’s latest collection, รclos, a range of mineral surfaces made from over 50% recycled materials.
“C Next Designers was a huge success, with attendees engaging in lively discussions and debates on the future of design,” said Cosentino. “Almeria has become the European epicentre of the interior design industry, thanks to Cosentino.”
The event also featured a talk on luxury residential design, moderated by Dezeen’s Max Fraser, with panellists including Iker Ochotorena, founder of architecture studio OOAA, Andreea Cebud, founder of C’est Design, and Sascha Bialoian, head of global channel management at Dornbracht.
Cosentino plans to expand the event to the Middle East, following the success of its European editions.
