The Government of Chhattisgarh has partnered with BLS International to launch state-of-the-art Model Sub-Registrar Offices (SROs) aimed at streamlining land and property registration. This initiative marks a significant leap toward accessible, efficient, and transparent public services.
In the first phase, 19 SROs across major towns, including Raipur, will feature modern amenities like digital infrastructure, biometric verification, real-time service updates, and dedicated counters for senior citizens and differently-abled individuals. Enhanced facilities such as air-conditioned lounges, token-based queuing, and on-site document services ensure convenience at every step.
โThis visionary initiative will redefine governance with global service standards,โ said Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, BLS International. COO Lokanath Panda added, โThese offices will transform how citizens interact with government services, fostering transparency and trust.โ
Chhattisgarh’s 104 SROs will be upgraded in phases, setting a precedent for citizen-centric governance in India. The project aligns with nationwide digitization efforts, empowering citizens through streamlined processes and modern infrastructure.
