Atmosphere Core has partnered with A V N G Developers LLP to develop Atmosphere Hillora Eco Resort Visakhapatnam, a 180-key luxury eco resort in the Eastern Ghats. The property is scheduled to open in Q1 2029, strengthening the hospitality group’s expansion across India.
Set amid the forests, lakes and hills of the Eastern Ghats, the resort will be located near the Polavaram Irrigation Project on the Godavari River and approximately an hour from Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram.
The property will comprise cottages, suites and private-pool villas, with its design planned around the surrounding landscape and an eco-sensitive hospitality approach.

The resort will have an all-day dining restaurant, cafรฉ lounge, specialty restaurant, bar with lounge and library, and a poolside bar. Its wellness offering will be anchored by ELE|NA Ayur Spa, alongside a swimming pool, outdoor deck and fitness centre.
MICE and destination weddings will form a significant part of the property’s positioning, with planned infrastructure including convention halls, conference rooms, boardrooms and open-air event venues.
A V N Govinda Rao, Managing Director, A V N G Developers LLP, said the partnership aims to create a luxury eco resort that integrates with the site’s natural landscape and supports the development of Visakhapatnam’s premium tourism offering.
Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director, Atmosphere Core (India, Nepal, Bhutan & Sri Lanka), said the resort would target high-end weddings, MICE events and leisure travellers, particularly weekend and festival demand.
