Award-winning architecture firm APICES Studio has announced its strategic expansion into Gujarat, marking a new phase of growth as it looks to capitalise on the stateโs sustained economic momentum and rising demand for commercial and residential infrastructure.
With over two decades of experience and a strong reputation in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, APICES Studio is entering Gujarat at a time when the state is witnessing accelerated urban and industrial development. Gujaratโs per capita income crossed โน3 lakh for the first time in December 2025, placing it among Indiaโs top five state economies and reflecting a sharp rise in productivity, investment and construction activity over the past decade.
The firm will initially focus on key growth centres including Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara, where large-scale infrastructure initiatives such as Dholera Special Investment Region, GIFT City and the MumbaiโAhmedabad Bullet Train are driving demand for offices, industrial facilities, warehouses and housing. The expansion also aligns with Gujaratโs focus on sustainable urban development under the Gujarat@75 agenda, which emphasises smart cities, green spaces and environmentally responsible construction.

The firm plans to develop customised solutions tailored to Gujaratโs evolving urban and industrial requirements.
Although this marks APICES Studioโs formal entry into Gujarat, the firm has already delivered landmark projects in the state, including the Bahuratna Vasundhara installation at Gujarat University and a large-scale industrial facility in Umbergaon, reinforcing its credentials in innovative and sustainable design.
